What are Lasers, FotoFacial RF, and MesoFotoRFSM?What conditions may be treated?
Lasers and FotoFacial RF use light energy or combined radio frequency and intense pulsed light to rejuvenate the skin.
Super FotoFacial RF, the enhanced version of FotoFacial RF, use more broad band width of light energy and are therefore even more effective in skin rejuvenation.
MesoFotoRFSM , the enhanced version of FotoFacial RF, combines FotoFacial RF and MesoFacial, rejuvenate the skin in three synergistic ways: nutritionally, optically, and electrically. Series of MesoFacials are followed by multiple sessions of laser or IPL RF.
Super MesoFotoRFSM , the further version of Super FotoFacial RF, also combines Super FotoFacial RF and MesoFacial, followed by a series of MesoFacials are followed by multiple sessions of laser or IPL RF.
The skin is primed or prepared with medical skin program several weeks prior to light therapy. For few days up to one week prior to light treatment, no exfoliating agents should be used. During the laser or light session, topical numbing medicine and/or cooling are often used to enhance comfort. Rubber band like sensation is felt during laser or light activation.
With Lasers and FotoFacial RF, correctable conditions include dark spots, rosacea, veins, texture, acne, pores, and unwanted hair. Super FotoFacial RF are even more effective against resistant pigmentation.
With MesoFoto RF, correctable conditions include dark spots, rosacea, veins, texture, dullness, and dryness. Super MesoFoto RF are even more effective against dry aging skin with pigmentation
When and What Results Might Be Expected? How long does the results last?
With Lasers and FotoFacial RF, gradual and modest improvement of skin texture, color, or unwanted hair is expected.
With MesoFoto RF, instant and dramatic improvement of skin radiance and hydration is expected Subsequently, gradual and modest improvement of skin texture and color is expected.
Results generally last up to one year with further treatments suggested for maintenance.
What is the recovery like? When can I return to work and activities?
Recovery is minimal. Mild peeling, dryness, redness, or crusting are expected during the first few days. Anti-inflammatory, moisturizers, and sun-blocks are required during this period, but no exfoliating agents should be used.
Any treatments to help maintain or enhance my results?
Minor adjustments, maintenance, or further enhancements can often be done non-surgically with further MDSun™ Skin Care, Lasers/Fotofacial RF for additional enhancement. More extensive or permanent changes require further ablative options such Fraxel or FraxeLite™.
