What is Breast Lift? What conditions may be treated?
Breast lift surgery restores a more youthful position of the saggy breast tissue. Often breast implant may be combined in select cases.
Via an extended breast incision, breast tissues are repositioned to higher position and implants may be placed simultaneously if needed. The procedure takes one to two hours usually requiring general anesthesia.
When and What Results Might Be Expected? How long does the results last?
Immediate and dramatic improvement of breast position is expected to last decades.
What is the recovery like? When can I return to work and activities?
Recovery usually takes one week. Moderate swelling and bruising are expected. Use of prescribed pain medicine may be necessary. Most patients return to work and regular activities either immediately or within one week.
Any treatments to help maintain or enhance my results?
Significant changes require further surgical shaping.
