2008: Dr. Sun is elected by Allergan, the maker of botox and juvaderm, as one of the top 100 aesthetic physicians nationwide to train other physicans in the advanced techniques of non-surgical cosmetic enhancement and rejuvenation.

2008: Thermage Inc., one of the world's premiere aesthetic medical device companies, has awarded Advanced Aesthetics Center the Thermage Pinnacle Award. 2008: Dr. Sun was interviewed by Phoenix American News. Regarding The Guide To Cosmetic Skin Treatments, where Dr. Sun discussed about how to keep skin young and healthy.

2008: In support of local community the center is proud to support the South Bay Chinese School. For their 2008 Chinese New Year banquet.

2007: In support of local community hospital & charity work the center is proud to be the main sponsor for the Crystal Ball Methodist Hospital Foundation in 2007.

2007: The Center and Dr. Sun are named CME Scholar, an accredited continuing medical aesthetic medicine education program supported by Allergan, the maker of BOTOX®.  The office continues to serve as a teaching center for physicians in the latest techniques of cosmetic rejuvenation procedures.

2007: Dr. Sun has been named by Bioform to be a Medical Education Faculty (MEF) which is composed of approximately 120 physicians from across the United States who are experts in the use of Radiesse. These physicians possess a wealth of experience and knowledge and have agreed to hold preceptorship trainings for colleagues who desire peer to peer learning and to be certified as a Radiesse injector.
